Iyengar Yoga - Hatha Yoga tradition

During the last decade yoga has been increasingly popular - new yoga studios poping up, fitness studios offering yoga classes and different new types of yoga appearing out of the blue.

Yoga has become westernized - the yoga (Union) between modern society and ancient tradition manifesting in such variety both online, outside, hot and not so hot.

My view on this is that hatha yoga traditions has so much to offer why not explore that in depth?

My path as a yoga teacher in the past 30 years has taught me so much about when to see new ways as a blessing and when to cherish traditions.

How to be open and see what is new and how to integrate it in the way that I teach. And these times of change has inspired me to be a yogi of traditions as well as to offer teachings in new forms.

The Hatha Yoga traditions that I was taught within the Iyengar yoga teachings gives us so many good things - the thoroughness, the safety, the originality and least of all the time and space to mature and immerse yourself in the depth of Yoga.

I have created a page on my website cherishing the teachings of the Hatha Yoga tradition of Iyengar Yoga. I hope you will explore and cherish it with me.
